Wyatt Galarneau is an award winning violin maker located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Wyatt began working on violins at the age of 15 under the guidance of a local luthier. After high school, Wyatt graduated from college with a degree in arts. Wyatt briefly attended the violin making summer program at University of New Hampshire and soon after applied to the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wyatt attended the Violin Making School of America from 2020-2024 under the training of his teachers, Alex Wilson, Sanghoon Lee, and Charles Woolf. Wyatt graduated Cum Laude in 2024, being the 8th student to have done so in the schools history. Wyatt is now a full time Luthier for Knoxville Fine Violins located in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee where he works for fellow alumni, Wesley Rule. Wyatt makes in the styles of the Guarneri family, Stradivari, and the Amati family of instruments.
